Should I buy a car or save for a house? - Laura Sillano, Pod Financial

Fri 10:00am 27 Apr 2018
Most of us bump into this proverbial fork in our financial path in life where we are faced with the question; now that it's financially possible, should you be buying a car or save up to buy a house? With the emergence of car-sharing services like Uber, one can get around the city without having to think about the overhead costs of maintaining a vehicle or worrying about paying a monthly loan. Laura thinks that there are more ways to get around other than buying your own car, and it's just a matter of looking at the amount of travelling you'll need in order to operate smoothly everyday. It is important to put-on a certain mindset of looking ahead in terms of finances. Laura and John observes that with the people's need for anything instant--emails, social media, etc-- that perhaps most of us have lost the practice of delayed gratification, or the value of having something bigger in the future in exchange of the sacrifices we have to go through today. Perhaps it's time to get back to this mindset and build goals upon with financial stability in mind. Cars, in value, depreciate over time. However, the value of houses appreciate over time. Laura Sillano is an expert that could help you realign your financial goals. Thinking of buying your own home? Talk to Laura, you can reach her through her mobile number 0422 320 497
