For any business, sustaining an Online Reputation Management (ORM) process is an extremely valuable asset, particularly in the eyes of the consumer. Much like traditional Reputation Management, it refers to the influencing and controlling of a business's reputation. The internet has most certainly magnified the effects of a brand, product and service perception.

Where Online Reputation Management (ORM) is concerned is means building a  recognisable digital public image.  Here at eCentral we have built a "reputation team" who deal with poor reviews, spam and fake events for all our clients. As Marketing Managers our leadership in this area means we are also abreast of developments within our software to handle such issues. We monitor daily our client's websites to ensure all digital reference protocols are adhered to. All our clients are maintaining a 4.9 star rating, it speaks for itself!

As an example of some unacceptable instances - an Adelaide barrister landed a $750k settlement for a defamation case and a Melbourne Dentist won a case forcing Google to release the meta data and identity of the person defaming his teeth whitening operation. Changes are afoot to protect businesses when and where necessary.
